tooth preservation

There are implants, prostheses and bridges which can replace your own teeth but they are not your own teeth. So the biggest attention should be given to the preservation of your own teeth. In Germany about 17 million teeth are still extracted every year.

Unfortunately, the medical fees paid which are reimbursed by health insurance are not sufficient to pursue serious tooth preservation and descent root canal treatments in particular.

“National Health Care patients", like everybody else, should be allowed to decide for themselves what is best for them. The decision for a tooth-extraction should not simply be made because the fee does not reflect the performed work.

There is the possibility to agree upon an endodontic therapy that is not covered by medical insurance, and that is probably the most reasonable solution. If you feel that you can live better without teeth, then your wishes will, of course, be respected.
