Missing teeth

Aesthetics play a big role in the visible area of the mouth. The implanted dental prothesis should look like natural teeth. After completion of the prosthetics the implant, the newly constructed tooth and the enclosed gums can form a harmonious unity.

Advantage of the implant solution compared with the conventional bridge: Only the "root", which is absent, is substituted. Healthy tooth substance is preserved, because there is no need to drill down the teeth either side of the gap, which would normally be necessary in preparation for a conventional crown or bridge.

If several teeth are missing, the jawbone is no longer stressed in a well-balanced way, which can lead to bone loss. If the gaps, even if they just interfere from an aesthetical point of view, are closed with implants, it will transfer the chewing forces on the surrounding bone and therefore stimulate the natural metabolism. The dreaded osteoporosis, due to the absence of strain, will be prevented. The number of implants to be placed depends on the bone quality and the size of the gap.
